Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReceiptBox ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ReceiptBox is a digital receipt storage and warranty tracking application. The Free tier includes up to 5 receipts with photo upload. The Pro tier ($3/month) unlocks unlimited receipt storage and PDF export. A 14-day free trial is available for Pro.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. ReceiptBox uses email/password authentication with optional Google sign-in.

4. Payment and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $3/month via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account page. Upon cancellation, you retain access to existing receipts but cannot add new ones beyond the free limit of 5 receipts. No refunds are provided for partial months — you retain Pro access through the end of your current billing period.

5. Data and Privacy

Your receipt data and photos are stored securely. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data. See our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious content, or to access other users' data without authorization.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ReceiptBox is not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service. Maintain your own backups of important receipt data.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
