Is PriceTag free to use?

Yes. The free plan includes unlimited items, barcode scanning, receipt photos, and warranty tracking. A Pro supporter tier ($3/month or $30/year) adds a supporter badge, feature voting and roadmap, early access, and priority support.

Do I need an account to use PriceTag?

No. PriceTag works with no account and no cloud storage - all your purchase prices, receipts, and warranty data stay on your device in IndexedDB.

Can I use PriceTag offline?

Yes. PriceTag is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works entirely offline. Your data is stored locally on your device, so you can look up prices and add purchases anywhere.

Can PriceTag scan barcodes?

Yes. PriceTag includes a built-in barcode scanner (UPC format) so you can add items quickly from your camera instead of typing product details by hand.

Can I track warranties with PriceTag?

Yes. Each item can store its warranty expiration date, and PriceTag surfaces a 'Warranties Expiring Soon' view so you never miss a return or claim window. You can also attach receipt photos.

Can I install PriceTag on my phone's home screen?

Yes. PriceTag is installable as a PWA on Android, iOS, and desktop. Once installed it launches in its own window and works offline - no app store required.
