- Do I need an account to use DueLane?
- No. DueLane is local-first: your income, expenses, and tax estimates stay on your device in IndexedDB. No account, no cloud dependency, no tracking.
- How does quarterly tax estimation work?
- Add your income and expenses, and DueLane estimates what to set aside for each quarter (Q1–Q4). Quarterly cards show status (upcoming, due soon, past due, paid), suggested amounts, and a running annual projection.
- Can I use DueLane offline?
- Yes. DueLane is an offline-first Progressive Web App — all data lives in IndexedDB on your device and the app works without an internet connection.
- Can I export my tax data?
- Yes. DueLane includes free local CSV import and export, so you can back up your records or open them in a spreadsheet.
- Does DueLane file my taxes for me?
- No — DueLane is an estimator and organizer, not filing software. For filing, DueLane links to TurboTax, Cash App Taxes, and QuickBooks, plus the Freelancer Tax Workbook ($9 one-time) and a free Tax Deadline Cheatsheet for worksheets and deduction guides.
