Is SubLane really free?

Yes. The entire app — unlimited subscriptions, budget tracking, category insights, CSV import/export, dark mode, and PWA install — is completely free. No accounts, no credit card, no catch. Pro features (cloud backup, sync, reminders) are being rebuilt and will be available later.

Do I need to create an account to use SubLane?

No. SubLane is a private, local-first PWA with no accounts and no cloud — all subscription data stays on your device. It works offline and is installable without an app store.

What can I track with SubLane?

Track subscription renewals, costs, and upcoming payments. SubLane shows monthly and annual totals, active and trial counts, a Due Soon view, category budgets with alerts, and statuses for active, paused, cancelled, and trial subscriptions.

How do budget alerts work?

Set monthly spending limits per category. SubLane warns you when you are approaching your limit and shows a critical alert when a category is over budget.

What happens when SubLane Pro launches?

The free tier will continue to have unlimited subscription tracking and all current features. Pro will add cloud backup, multi-device sync, email reminders for renewals and trials, and advanced cost analytics. Existing free users won't lose anything.

Is my subscription data private?

Yes. All subscription data is stored exclusively on your device using IndexedDB. There are no accounts, no servers, and no tracking beyond basic anonymous analytics — your financial information never leaves your browser.
