Benefits

  • Two timer modes: Pomodoro with configurable focus, break, and long-break intervals — or a free-running stopwatch that auto-saves when you stop.
  • Tag every session: Label sessions (Deep Work, Code, Read, Write…) and add optional notes, then see a breakdown of where your time actually went.
  • Stats that respect privacy: Weekly chart, tag breakdown, streak tracking, and searchable history — all computed locally, nothing uploaded.
  • Export and restore: Download a full JSON backup anytime and restore it on another device with one click.

Privacy and security

  • Session data is stored locally in this browser’s localStorage and is not uploaded by the app.
  • No account, email, or signup is required. The app has no analytics trackers.
  • The app works offline after installation; only the optional Focus Kit checkout requires a network connection.
  • Clearing browser storage removes the data; export a JSON backup regularly for a durable copy.

Common questions

Does FlowStack need an account?
No. There is no signup, no email, and no account — the app works entirely on your device.
Does it work offline?
Yes. FlowStack is a PWA with a service worker, so it works offline after installation and can be added to your home screen.
Is there a Pro subscription?
No. The app is free. An optional one-time Focus Kit digital download ($5) adds a printable companion toolkit; there is no recurring subscription.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser’s localStorage on your device. You can export a full JSON backup from Settings and restore it on another device.
