Milepost is a local-first application. All vehicle service records, fuel logs, receipt photos, mileage data, and reminders are stored entirely on your device in your browser's IndexedDB storage. We do not collect, transmit, or store this data on any server.
Milepost does not collect or access: your location, vehicle telematics, OBD data, contacts, browsing history, or any other personal information.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand basic usage patterns — such as how many people open the app, which features are used, and whether visitors view the pricing page. GA4 does not receive your vehicle data, service records, or any personally identifiable information.
If you subscribe to Milepost Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects payment information directly — Milepost never sees or stores your credit card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.
Your vehicle data lives on your device and is deleted when you clear your browser data. We recommend using the built-in JSON export feature for backups. Stripe retains subscription and payment records per their standard policies.
